The decisive advantage of Trützschler tuft blending installations lies in their flexibility – 2 to 6 different fibers can be mixed together. This results in an application range that covers everything from standard blends (e.g. 50 % cotton / 50 % polyester) to the addition of smallest portions (e.g. 1% black fibers / 99 % white fibers). The resulting blend shows reproducible high-end quality: For example, when adding only 2 % acrylic fibers to 98 % cotton, the Trützschler system achieves a CV value of less than 1% (measured over 40 weighings).
